While older articles from January were properly recovered from the Web Archive, the first Alpha Release article only lived some days between February 29th, 2012 and a day between March 2nd, 2012 and March 4th, 2012.

Here is a third-party article from March 2nd, 2012 (archive from 2012) that referenced the link to https://tremz.com/blog/alpha-release/ assuming it was still working on that day. That third-party page displays an image of the early human player of Unvanquished.

At the date of March 2nd, 2012, the Web Archive recorded some trace of an “Alpha release!” forum thread and a “Comparing Unvanquished to Tremulous (screenshots)” forum thread on tremz.com. The Web Archive recorded that the “Alpha Release!” forum thread was already deleted from tremz.com on March 9th, 2012.
