Quite honestly, the granger doesn't look like it could wallclimb at all. You could even say having the chubby creature wallwalk with its needle feet looks too stupid to explain it with the »gameplay over looks« mantra. Norfenstein once proposed removing the wallwalk ability and force the alien team to apply teamwork, i.e. lifting the granger with the flying class. Personally I'd rather give it the ability to spit the seed for a new buildable at a wall or ceiling, potentially with a limited distance. (We do have some nice code for trajectory calculation after all.) You see, we are not afraid of change, we just didn't make a decision yet.

Hey, that does make a lot more sense. The spit idea works very well.

Fixed .debs are available.

:bomb: I've added a few patch .pk3s – pakK.1.pk3 and pakK.2.pk3 – which you'll get on connection to the NA, training or dev servers or (in some cases) on installation. They fix fire left behind by the flamer and the firebomb, a few issues with the human model, and vsays.

:computer: Server maintainers should install them in the same directory as pakK.pk3; servers don't need to be restarted. Also, they'll be folded into pakL.pk3 in the next release.

Debian and Ubuntu packages (squeeze, wheezy, sid; 12.04, 12.10, 13.04) may work on derivatives

OFFEND! … no, that's not right… ATTACK!

BTW anom tried your solution and got this sed -i -e '1 s/sh/bash/' /var/lib/dpkg/info/unvanquished-common.config dpkg --configure -ased: unrecognized option '--configure'Usage: sed [OPTION]... Armours: We won't be able to buy helmet by itself to save funds? :/

Blackouts: I loved them :'(
At least let the player black out "a little" (not completely black, nor slow down the player completely, if you think about it normal jogging speed is already superb comparing to real life)

Building changes!Humans no longer need a power source near a drill, though one may be needed anyway if there are other buildings nearby.

So, we went from "humans not expanding so easily" to now "humans are better at expanding than aliens?"

The reason I loved 1.1 balance was because aliens were unique for their manouvreability while human buildables are more in defence.

Crush: Disable on teammates pls. Also, make it "relative speed difference" between the two subjects. Also (again), we should fix the quake's dodgy collision where one player suddenly loses all their speed.
