Re: Alpha 21 time!

its time to, even slowly get away from the old tremulous balance and mechanics to something different( better imho ). Don't you think elmo? I like the addition of this armour class. we will see how it turns out and what needs to be tweaked. >everything is better than just sticking to the old trem'is...

Re: HMG: the new chaingun

nice work! though it looks a little bit like the american garbage M-60 machine gun. I would prefer a design more influenced by the good old german classic: the MG-42 or its successor the MG-3. But its looking way better than the old trem "thing" where you couldn't even tell what the revolv...

Re: Alpha 21 time!

downloading right now, haven't played yet. But ... We hit a problem with advanced granger being shown in the spawn menu but also being locked; so now dead players are told about items being locked or unlocked, and (for aliens) both granger forms are listed. >have you considered to let aliens have th...

Re: Painsaw progress

i think what stalkermit is trying to say is:

it looks like a common tool probably found in space colonies to cut very robust metal alloys and is therefore best suited as a low level melee weapon for the human team because of its proven reliability and low cost.

Am i right?

Re: Painsaw progress

Hi,the weapon looks awesome. i like the forward handle ( if that is the thing that sticks out on top )...The question immediately arises to me while looking at that handle is about another old trem artefact weapon: the minigun. any progress there as well? The name plasma-cutter is well choosen, i wo...

Re: SMG: the new rifle

NOW WE ARE TALKING  very good. I like that model because it shows similarities to the shotgun. I was allways an advocate of the fact that the 2 diffrent weapon families, full energy and kinetic energy weapons should have something in common (color, style, manufacturer logo etc.). I also thi...

Re: certain keys are not working

Most of these input problems (which are only present in builds using SDL 1.2) are fixed now.

sorry anomalous, i don't understand -- will there be a fix for this before alpha 0.21?

Re: Confidence explained

Viech are there planes to replace the representation strings of the values with distinct icons? this would make room for another 2values: the expected bp generation per minute ( shown if you are going to build a drill/leech ) and the current bp rate as it is, because Exactly. It is the efficiency of...

Re: Alpha 15!

ahh ze kharnov is back  !! nice work on the heat haze effect, though IMHO Ithink it should be increased to make the air in front of heat generating wepons even more "drift", because I barly noticed that effect using a flamethrower in battle. I only came to realize it in its full bea...
